Have had IC for 3+ years now. Did bladder infusions and elmiron for 18 months+. Found Cystoprotek - what a difference!! Now I take nothing else at all, and the awful urethral pain and belly tenderness is completely gone. Have been on Cystoprotek for over a year now, absolutely zero side effects for me. This stuff is awesome.

Try this if you have IC., 2008-06-09
I have had IC for 4 years, and have been taking this product for 4 months. I initially noticed a slight mitigation in IC symptoms that lasted a few hours after taking two Cystoprotek pills, and also noticed GI effects if I took too much of the medication. My body has a resistance to the GI effects now, and I can safely take 10 or 12 pills per day (staggered throughout the day). My IC symptoms have gotten much better, although I am unsure whether the CystoProtek or Elmiron has helped me more (been taking both for the same time period). I recommend that any patient with IC-like symptoms give this a trY and experiment to determine how much you can handle.

Anita's Cystoprotek Review, 2008-04-27
I have been dignosed with Interistitial Cystitis recently, as of January 2008. It is also referred to as painful bladder spasms. I refused the bladder instillations due to intolerance of the procedure related to pain. I was started on Elmiron three times a day. This made my hair fall out and therefore had to decrease the dose to once a day. I heard about Cystoprotek through the IC-Network. I bought it and tried it. Three days later, I started feeling better and by 2 weeks I could hardly tell that I had this awful disease. Thanks Amazon for selling this medicine.

 Cystiorotek helped me, 2008-04-20
I have Interstitial Cystitis, and the last time I had a flare-up, I started taking Cystoprotek according to package directions: 2 capsules twice a day. I got over the flare-up, but I'm going to keep on taking the Cystoprotek because I believe it really helped.
